Kids-in-Motion
20 months – 6 years
The program is for boys and girls.
This is a parent/caregiver and child, co-ed program. Children are introduced to all gymnastics equipment. They learn to interact with other children and also to work independently through challenging activities with music, balls, hoops, obstacle courses and the trampoline. (60 minutes, once per week) Parents MUST sign up a presence log at the beginning of each class
Class size is small and space is limited.
After School Programs
Stars in Motion
Born 2009 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014
In accordance with the safety protocol due to Covid-19 this is a new program shorter in length for girls with little or no experience. Every week just two apparatuses will be used, alternating them every week. This program will offer gymnasts smaller classes and more to time to concentrate on the skills of those two apparatuses. It runs simultaneously with the Kids-in-motion program and is great for families that enroll more than one child. There will be 3 age levels:
- Level 1 for girls 6-7 years old
- Level 2 for girls 8-9 years old
- Level 3 for girls 10-11 years old
Stars In Progress
Born 2013, 2014
This program will provide instruction of all gymnastics events, emphasizing safety. Children develop a higher level of fitness and an understanding of the fundamentals of gymnastics. Groups will be formed according to age, ability and the Club’s progressive level system. Classes are smaller than before and gymnasts must follow all safety protocols required by the Ministry of Health (2 hours, once per week.)
Future Stars
Born 2011, 2012
A program for girls ONLY. A program for older girls similar to our popular Stars in Progress. This program will provide instruction on all gymnastics events, emphasizing safety. Children develop a higher level of fitness and an understanding of the fundamentals of gymnastics. Groups will be formed according to age, ability and the Club’s progressive level system. (2 hours, once per week.)
Pre-Teens
Born 2008, 2009, 2010
A program for girls only, from 10 to 12 years old.
This program offers pre-teens fun, fitness and fundamentals. Girls progress at their own pace when approaching gymnastics skills, developing strength and flexibility required for the proper, and safe, performance of new gymnastics skills. (2 hours, once per week)
By Invitation / Testing
Pre-Competitve Workshop
Born 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Registration in Pre-Competitive Workshop program is based on a yearly enrolment (37 weeks).
This is an in-house competitive league that offers competitive experience. A competition will be held in the second half of the season. Competition is FREE of charge (registration is required). If by February 2021 we will not be allowed to run such competition, we will run one on Zoom.
Gymnasts in the Pre-Competitive Workshop will be training 2.5 hours per week (one day). Only selected gymnasts are invited in Pre-Competitive Workshop.
Due to the Ministry of Health protocol, siblings will be placed in the same group (assuming both have been invited in this program)
This program does not provide a spring session, however, gymnasts from recreational level can be invited in this program anytime during the season.
Competitve Workshop
Born 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013
Registration in Competitive Workshop program is based on a yearly enrolment (37 weeks)
This is an in-house competitive league that offers competitive experience. A competition will be held in the second half of the season. Competition is FREE of charge (registration is required). If by February 2021 we will not be allowed to run such competition, we will run one on Zoom.
Gymnasts in the Competitive Workshop will be training 5 hours per week (two days). Only selected gymnasts are invited in Competitive Workshop.
Gymnasts will be grouped, according to their skills level and after that, they will be grouped according to age. Due to the Ministry of Health protocol, siblings will be placed in the same group (assuming both have been invited in this program)
Advanced Competitive Workshop
Born 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013
Registration in Competitive Workshop program is based on a yearly enrolment (37 weeks).
This is an in-house competitive league that offers competitive experience. A competition will be held in the second half of the season. Competition is FREE of charge (registration is required). If by February 2021 we will not be allowed to run such competition, we will run one on Zoom.
Gymnasts in the Advanced Competitive Workshop will be training 7.5 hours per week (three days). Only selected gymnasts are invited in the Advanced Competitive Workshop.
Due to the Ministry of Health protocol, siblings will be placed in the same group (assuming both have been invited in this program).
Interclub 2
Born 2012 or earlier
This program is for inter-club competitive gymnasts with experience, selected and accepted by Club’s Head Coach. These gymnasts will be training 8 hours per week and compete against gymnasts from other clubs. Gymnasts in this program will require a uniform: one gym suit and track suit for competition and a mandatory training suit. For information please contact the club’s head coach. Gym suit will be order individually from Jagwear’s web site: www.jagwearleos.com
Interclub 3
Born 2012 or earlier
This program is for interclub competitive gymnasts with experience, selected and accepted by Club’s Head Coach. These gymnasts will be training 12 hours per week and compete against gymnasts from other clubs. Gymnasts in this program will require a uniform: one gym suit and track suit for competition and a mandatory training suit. For information please contact the club’s head coach. Gym suit will be order individually from Jagwear’s web site: www.jagwearleos.com
Sports Aerobics
Born 2010 or earlier
This is an in-house league that offers competitive experiences in a new gymnastics branch. A demonstration will be held in the second half of the season. Participation in the demonstration is FREE of charge (registration is required). Sports Aerobics prepare gymnasts on just floor area. Is a combination of floor gymnastics, cheer leading and aerobics fitness.
This program does not provide a spring session, however, gymnasts from recreational and Competitive Workshop level can be invited in this program anytime during the season.
This program REQUIRES AN UNIFORM. After Thanksgiving, gymnasts must wear the uniform in order to get access to train. Gym suits can be ordered by accessing this page www.jagwearleos.com/details/1005 on the Jagwear’s web site.
